Prairie Horizons Farm is located in the heart of the beautiful glacial moraine of Western Minnesota, midway between Benson and Starbuck, MN. Acres of original tallgrass prairie, restored prairie, diverse grasslands, gardens, orchards, crystal clear ponds and an abundance of life cover and protect the landscape. Luverne and MJ Forbord manage land, water, cattle and goats, and are committed to raising healthful, nutritious and delicious foods on the tallgrass prairie.
Joraan’s Orchard
Our unique orchard is a living tribute to our son, Joraan Forbord. We grow Certified Organic Nanking cherries, chokecherries, spice currants, apricots, apples, aronia berries, peaches, grapes and hazelnuts.
